Richard Morabito of Stamford was arrested Monday after throwing a knife at his daughter and her boyfriend's feet, said Stamford Police Sgt. Robert Shawinsky.
After throwing the knife, Shawinsky said Morabito then followed them upstairs at the Faucett Street home and hit his daughter in the head with his hand.
No one was injured during the confrontation, he added.
Morbito was charged with disorderly conduct, the risk of injury to a child and two counts of reckless endangerment.
